Message from the President

On behalf of the entire Airmatic Compressor team, we welcome you to our first e-newsletter Smart Air. We hope you like our new design, new format and new ways of sharing our knowledge and news with you! Each month, you’ll get informative articles about customer success stories, monthly sales specials, compressed air applications as well as Airmatic updates on staff related news.

All of us here at Airmatic hope that you’re healthy and taking good care of yourself as well as the people around you. We also want you to know that we believe your business is essential to you and all of your fellow workers, families and suppliers. We respect and honor our customers who are persevering through this unnatural event that has been affecting everyone everywhere, both in our private, and work life.

It is in all of our DNA to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start moving forward again and be better than before. We don’t play the victim, we are active participants in life. New Hires

We are pleased to announce two new members of the Airmatic Compressor Family, Rob Kirchhofer and William De Luca.

Rob brings 6 years of expertise in the compressed air service industry to Airmatic Compressor. He will be joining our talented fleet of mobile field technicians to handle all of your compressed air service needs.

 

 

Will De Luca is our new Director of Technical Service, where he is responsible for managing our team of Field Service Technicians. Will brings 26 years of compressed air industry experience where he served in multiple management, operations, sales and engineering roles with Atlas Copco. Will was also integral to Airmatic’s successful transition into New Jeresey’s Atlas Copco distributorship 20 years ago.

 

Airmatic Creates New Aftermarket Sales Department

This month Airmatic Compressor Systems has formally launched a dedicated aftermarket sales department led by Craig Verga, Director of Aftermarket Services. The new department will work hand in hand with Airmatic’s field sales team to provide the highest level of customer support in the industry.

From Craig:

Recognizing that each customer is different and requires a unique customer service experience, we have refocused our efforts in 2020. Specifically, we have reorganized our service team with the addition of the Aftermarket department to provide dedicated value to our customers. With this, we have created a new position within the department, the Aftermarket Specialist. Our Aftermarket Specialists are service brand ambassadors that will reach out to each of our customers to make sure that:

  • First and foremost, customer satisfaction
  • Ensure customers are receiving the right level of service needed and adjusting that effort to meet expectations. Some customers need more support, some less. Our goal is to provide the level that suits every need.

Product and Service Focus:

  • Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Plans
  • Bumper-to-Bumper and Extended Warranty Plans
  • Aftermarket Parts Sales

Technical Project of the Month

One of Airmatic’s strengths is the efficient application of industrial equipment that lowers costs, increases productivity and strengthens business operation through decreased downtime.

As an example, we have a project that will significantly lower the indirect costs of production equipment cooling systems. Currently, an open loop system using city water makes a single pass to cool multiple pieces of equipment. 100,000 gallons per week dumps directly into the city sewer system. The estimated cost of this is $96,000 per year.

Our solution is a state-of-the-art closed loop chilled water system that will provide a financial ROI in under a year. This is in addition to the environmental benefits of eliminating potable water usage.
